The Telangana government has decided to life lockdown completely in the state and remove all Covid-19 restrictions amid declining trend in coronavirus cases.
The Telangana government has decided to life the Covid-19 lockdown in the state completely form June 19. The state cabinet said that the decision to lift the restrictions completely was taken in view of drop in coronavirus cases along with a significant decline in case positivity rate. As per the state cabinet, Telangana was able to control the spread of infection faster than other states. The decision to end lockdown in Telangana was taken in wake of decline in Covid-19 cases not just across the country, but also in the neigbouring states.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
