Revanth objects to Thiruvananthapuram MP’s words of praise for KCR government
Words of praise for the Telangana government by Lok Sabha member Shashi Tharoor kicked up a political storm on Thursday as State’s Information Technology (IT) Minister K.T. Rama Rao accused Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Revanth Reddy of using derogatory language and calling Mr. Tharoor a ‘donkey’.
Mr. Tharoor told The Hindu that Mr. Reddy’s reaction was ‘unwarranted’ and may have been based on “inaccurate information”.
Mr. Reddy, perceived to be close to former party chief Rahul Gandhi, called Mr. Rao a ‘liar’ and described it as “fake news”.
