
Telangana CM sanctions ₹7 lakhs to cancer patient’s family

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy sanctions funds to the family of a girl who died after suffering from cancer. The CM provided financial aid while she was undergoing treatment
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy sanctioned ₹7 lakhs to the family of a five-year-old girl who died battling blood cancer (anaplastic large cell lymphoma). In 2024, ₹8 lakhs was sanctioned for her treatment at the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital. However, the girl lost her life recently.
In the process of the treatment, the poor family spent a lot of money. The Chief Minister asked the officials to release another ₹7 lakhs to the girl’s parents. The cheque was handed over to the girl’s father by Chief Minister’s OSD Vemula Srinivasulu on Thursday.
