Telangana CM inaugurates Netflix Eyeline Studio’s VFX hub in Hyderabad, advocating for Netflix's office in the proposed Bharat Future City.
Netflix Eyeline Studio’s VFX hub in Hyderabad was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday (March 12, 2026).
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the State government is keen on hosting the facilities of all Fortune 500 companies. This is part of the strategy to achieve the $1 trillion economy target by 2035 it has set. Telangana’s economy now is $200 million and the ultimate goal is to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

Turning to Netflix leaders, Mr. Reddy said the company should consider setting up its India office in the proposed Bharat Future City, a 30,000 acre new city the State government has mooted near Hyderabad. He said the IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu has been advised to allot land for the same.
The Chief Minister said it makes sense to invest in Hyderabad as the companies can generate profit from their operations. “Telangana means business, Telangana is Rising,” he asserted.
He also spoke about the huge transformation entertainment industry has witnessed, from the times of black& white television, VCR, Dolby sound system to VFX.

Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who was appointed to discharge the functions of Governor of Tamil Nadu, assumed his gubernatorial office at Lok Bhavan in Chennai. Hailing from Goa, Mr. Arlekar had served as Governor in Himachal Pradesh and then as Governor of Bihar. Earlier, he was BJP's Goa State president.
