
Team of Special Forces veterans to train disabled to conquer land, air and water

Founded by Major Vivek Jacob, ‘Conquer Land Air Water’ (CLAW) is a social impact venture aimed at rehabilitating people with disabilities through sports and "induce powerful global action for inclusion."
A group of veterans from India's special forces have teamed up to train people with disabilities to scale mountains, skydive, scuba dive, and set a unique world record on land, air and water. The first attempt will be made in May this year on land when the team, led by former Para officer Major Vivek Jacob, will climb the world's highest battlefield, Siachen Glacier, with the largest team of people with disabilities (PWDs). The team will include not just ex-servicemen, but also serving soldiers and civilians. "A team of eight people with disabilities will scale Siachen Glacier, the highest battlefield in the world," said Major Vivek Jacob.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
