A teacher couple in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool allegedly died by suicide due to mounting debt amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
On the day the Andhra Pradesh government re-opened schools, a teacher couple in Kurnool allegedly died by suicide due to mounting debt amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Karnati Subramanyam (33) and his wife Rohini (27) allegedly ended their lives on Sunday by consuming poison near Laxmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Atmakur village in Kurnool district.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
