Delhi Police are investigating whether a self-styled tantric is linked to the deaths of three people whose bodies were found inside a parked car on the Peeragarhi flyover, with sources pointing to his past criminal cases and a pattern involving former clients who either died under suspicious circumstances or went missing.
According to Delhi Police sources, the probe is currently centred on Tantric, who has been questioned along with one of his associates. Investigators said several criminal cases had earlier been registered against him, but he allegedly escaped punishment due to lack of evidence.
Police sources said the Tantric was known for luring people with promises of quick wealth through tantric practices. He allegedly told clients, “There will be a shower of money through my powers” and “Money will double through my tantric rituals.” Sources claimed that many people fell for these promises, with some later losing both money and their lives.
Investigators said the victims — Randhir (76), Naresh Singh (47) and Laxmi Devi (40) — met the Tantric in the Peeragarhi area at around 10.30 am on Sunday. After the meeting, they left for northeast Delhi via the Ring Road and returned to the same area around 3 pm.
The bodies of the three were later found inside a car parked on the Peeragarhi flyover.
Sources said the Tantric remained inside the car for a considerable period on the day of the incident and was seated next to Randhir. Laxmi Devi’s family reportedly knew the Tantric earlier, and police suspect that she may have introduced him to Naresh Singh and Randhir.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

India's original Dhurandhar, Ravindra Kaushik, rose from acting at college theatres, to infiltrating the Pakistan Army as a RAW Agent. He provided critical intelligence on Pakistani troop movements and the country's nuclear programme, but died a lonely death after his betrayal and subsequent capture by the ISI.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
