Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin met Governor RN Ravi on Saturday and briefed him about the rain situation, even as the IMD predicted decrease in rainfall activity over the state from November 30.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin met Governor RN Ravi on Saturday and briefed him about the rain situation and ongoing relief and restoration work in the affected areas. So far, eight people have lost their lives in rain related incidents in the state.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
