Since January 7, the Tamil Nadu police have collected Rs 3.45 crore in fines from people for violating Covid-19 norms, breaking the night curfew and the full lockdown on Sunday.
Since January 7 2022, the Tamil Nadu police has collected Rs 3.45 crore in fines from people who have violated the Covid-19 regulation in the state. The state has fined people for breaking night curfew and the Sunday full lockdown regulations.
Over 1.64 lakh people have been fined for not wearing masks and over 2,000 people were fined for not maintaining social distance.1,552 people were fined for unnecessarily overcrowding in public places.
