Sri Lankan Navy, in the wee hours on Monday, opened fire at a mechanised boat that had ventured into the sea from Tamil Nadu's Nagapattinam port, after the boat had reportedly crossed the maritime border.
A fisherman from Tamil Nadu's Nagapattinam was injured after Sri Lankan Navy allegedly opened fire at a boat, officials said on Monday. Ten fishermen belonging to Tamil Nadu's Akkaraipettai and Keechankuppamhamlets ventured into the sea in a mechanised boat from Nagapattinam port on July 28, Nagapattinam fisheries department officials said.More Related News
