Tamil Nadu: CM Stalin defends white paper as AIADMK targets DMK farm loan waiver

AIADMK had alleged that the state finance ministry’s white paper was an indication that the DMK was unable to keep its poll promises.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday defended the white paper the DMK government has brought out on farm and jewellery loans. Stalin dismissed AIADMK leader RB Udhaykumar’s charge that the DMK has backed out from its promises made during the Tamil Nadu Assembly election in April. Stalin said, “We will never back away from the promises that we have given during our campaign.”
