DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin arrived in Kannur on Saturday, April 9, to attend a seminar to be held as part of the 23rd CPM party congress.
Stalin is currently at the forefront of the anti-BJP forces in the country. His arrival at the party congress enthused delegates. Stalin is the chief guest at the seminar on the 'Centre-State relationship’, which is scheduled for Saturday evening. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the seminar at 5 pm today.
It is noteworthy that CPM general secretary, Sitaram Yechury, had pointed out that Stalin was the man most suited to lead the anti-BJP forces.
The seminar, attended by the Tamil Nadu CM, is already creating quite a buzz as it will also be attended by veteran congress leader KV Thomas, who is taking part despite the Congress high command’s directive that prohibited Congress members from participating in it.
