Dubbing the DMK as ‘anti-women,the BJP leader and Union Home Minister appealed to the the "mothers and sisters" of the State to ‘teach a 'lesson' to the DMK in the April 6 Assembly polls.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday hit out at the DMK for its leader A Raja's alleged , saying it showed the party had no regard for women. The "mothers and sisters" of the Sstate should teach a 'lesson' to the DMK in the April 6 Assembly polls, he said. Addressing an election rally here, Mr. Shah charged the DMK with aiming to romp home in the hustings by 'hook or crook.' Referring to Mr. targeted at Palaniswami, leader of the BJP's ally AIADMK, Mr. Shah also slammed the Congress and DMK for corruption and dynasty politics.More Related News

Although students from Tamil Nadu remain the leading recipients of educational loans across India, there has been a significant decline in the number of active loans they hold. The number of active education loan accounts decreased from 27.4 lakh accounts to about 20.1 lakh in the period. The fall can be mostly attributed to the fall in Tamil Nadu’s numbers.
