A seven-year-old male elephant died after being electrocuted in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiris district on Thursday morning.
A seven-year-old male elephant was electrocuted to death in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiris district on Thursday. The animal is said to have come in contact with an electric fence, which was placed illegally, on private farmland at Bandhalur. An inquiry by forest officials revealed that a tea plantation owner named Shaji set the electric fence up illegally as it was close to the forest land.More Related News
