Tamil Nadu Governor launches book on Kashi Vishwanath Temple Kumbhabhishekam and children's storybooks at Kashi Tamil Sangamam.
Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi on Friday launched a book on the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Kumbhabhishekam along with five children’s storybooks translated from Hindi to Tamil at the Kashi Tamil Sangamam 3.0 in Varanasi. The event took place during an academic session on the Government of India’s schemes for women empowerment. Banaras Hindu University Vice-Chancellor Sanjay Kumar and professor Shweta Prasad of the Department of Sociology were also present.

Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat has rolled out digital mode of water bill generation and collection in 23 gram panchayats on a pilot basis for the first time in Karnataka. This is set to be extended to the remaining 200 panchayats shortly, according to the Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Narwade Vinayak Karbhari.
