After multiple matters were mentioned for urgent hearing on Friday, the Supreme Court bench headed by Justice Vineet Saran observed that the SC vacation bench is "overburdened". "We are hearing more matters than the regular bench. Already hearing 28 matters plus 11 matters. This is more than 40 matters in one day. Can't have so many. We also have to read all files," commented the bench of Justices Vineet Saran and BR Gavai on Friday morning. For the vacation period, the Supreme Court has said that only two benches of two judges each will sit every Tuesday and Friday to hear urgent matters.More Related News
