The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. Follow for live updates on the game, Bad Bunny’s halftime show and more.
• Super Bowl LX: The Seattle Seahawks are protecting an early lead over the New England Patriots in the second quarter at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. • Defensive showdown: Seattle kicker Jason Myers has accounted for the only points so far tonight, giving the Seahawks a 6-0 lead with two field goals. It’s been a defensive battle, with each quarterback taking a big hit or two. • Bad Bunny bowl: Puerto Rican music mega-star Bad Bunny will headline a highly anticipated halftime show. He’s adored by fans and set to make history with a Spanish-language performance, but Bad Bunny’s selection has also drawn conservative backlash — even before he spoke out against ICE at the Grammys last weekend, where he won album of the year. In its efforts to stem chronic disease in the United States, the “Make America Healthy Again” movement has enlisted Mike Tyson — in a blunt Super Bowl commercial targeting processed foods. Some context: The US does not have the highest obesity rate but ranks among the top 25 or so. Health experts partly blame the high consumption of ultraprocessed foods — products manufactured using industrial techniques and some ingredients never or rarely used in kitchens. These foods are typically low in fiber and high in calories, added sugar, refined grains and fats, sodium, and additives to help make food more appealing. The recently released 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans encourage reducing your intake of these foods.
