The decision was announced after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to consider doing away with lockdown on Sundays in view of declining Covid-19 cases in UP. With this, movement of people will be allowed from 6 am to 10 pm on all days of the week. On August 11, the government had decided against imposing weekend curfew on Saturdays.
