
Student falls off moving college bus in Tamil Nadu’s Salem, dies | Video

A CCTV inside a private college bus has captured the split moment when a student fell off the moving bus and was crushed to death in Salem on Monday.
A final year student of B.Com at a private college in Chinna Thirupathi, Salem, died after falling off a moving college bus when he was returning home on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Kalam. He fell when he tried to de-board the moving bus as he wanted to get off urgently.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV mounted inside the bus near the gate.
The video shows Kalam and another student who were trying to get down from the bus. At the next moment, he slipped and fell off the footboard while trying to jump from the moving bus.
After Kalam fell, he was caught on the rear tyre of the bus and was crushed to death.
Police have initiated an investigation and a complaint has also been registered against the driver who allegedly did not stop the bus on request.
Further investigation is underway.
