
Strong winds, rain damage tents of farmers protesting at Delhi borders

The weather witnessed a sudden change as dusty winds and rains hit several parts of Delhi, causing uprooting of trees and inconvenience to farmers who have been protesting at Delhi's borders for over six months now.
The sudden change in the weather conditions on Friday added to the woes of the farmers who have been protesting at Delhi's borders for over six months now. Farmer leader Gurmeet Mehma said that around 100 tents have been affected and damaged due to the strong winds and rains. The protesters will spend the night inside trolleys and the tents will be erected tomorrow morning," farmer leader Gurmeet Mehma was quoted as saying by PTI.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
