Strict vigil on arrivals from other States: DC

Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad Nitesh Patil has said that people reaching the district by road or train from Kerala and Maharashtra should compulsorily carry with them a negative RT-PCR report to gain entry into the district. Chairing a meeting of the health taskforce in Dharwad on Wednesday, Mr. Nitesh Patil said that following reports of surge in COVID-19 cases in Kerala and Maharashtra, special teams had been formed to keep vigil on those arriving from other States.
