
Stray bullet from CISF shooting range hits boy's head in Tamil Nadu's Pudukottai

An 11-year-old boy in Tamil Nadu was injured after being hit on the head by a stray bullet from a nearby CISF shooting range.
An 11-year-old boy in Tamil Nadu's Pudukottai was injured after being hit on the head by a stray bullet from a nearby firing range on Thursday.
The incident was reported from Narthamalai where Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel were undergoing training on a shooting range. The CISF personnel were reportedly in the middle of training when a stray bullet from one of the rifles hit the boy.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
