South Central Railway General Manager [SCR (GM)] Arun Kumar Jain has conducted a detailed inspection on ongoing redevelopment works of Secunderabad Railway Station and took stock on the progress of upgradation works on both the sides of the Railway station — platform number 1 and 10 side.
He also reviewed the passenger amenities and instructed the senior officials to take extra precautions on safety, security and to avoid the congestion in view of temporary closure of some platforms to facilitate platforms extension works.
Effective crowd management, security enhancements, passenger assistance initiative, provision for proper signages to facilitate hassle-free travel for passengers and other steps were discussed, said a press release on Saturday (April 19, 2025).
