Sonali Phogat's aide who is in jail on charges of murder had access to her secret lockers, the police have said.
After her nephew claimed that BJP leader and Tik Tok star Sonali Phogat's aide, who is now in prison on murder charges, had eyes on her property, it has now come to the fore that he also had access to her secret lockers and passwords.
The electronic locker has now been sealed by the police after her aide Sudhir Sangwan failed to unlock it with passwords. Three diaries with details about BJP leaders and expenses have also been recovered by the police.
Earlier, her nephew said, "Sudhir was trying to put Sonali on drugs for quite some time. He had also given her spiked pudding two months before she died. He was eyeing her property."
Sudhir Pal Sangwan also accepted that he gave MDMA drugs to the BJP leader in liquid form.
According to police, CCTV footage of Curlies restaurant was examined and it was found that Sudhir was forcefully making Sonali drink the 'obnoxious substance' liquid in a water bottle.
Sonali Phogat, 42, was brought dead to St Anthony Hospital at Anjuna in North Goa district on August 23 morning from her hotel.
