Sidhu rejects Punjab Dy CM post, goes mute, Congress struggles to strike balance with Amarinder

Navjot Singh Sidhu has rejected the Punjab deputy chief minister's post under the leadership of CM Amarinder Singh. Congress is now struggling to strike a balance between the two factions.
Adding to the woes of Congress, Navjot Singh Sidhu has now refused to work under Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh after being offered the deputy chief minister's post. Sources have said that Sidhu is apprehensive about working with CM Amarinder Singh. He is believed to have told the three-member panel working to resolve the differences in Punjab Congress that even if he accepts a deputy chief minister's post, 'he will not be comfortable'. Party sources have said Sidhu had told the panel that the chief minister is not accessible. He had also claimed before the panel that Congress MLAs, party workers and leaders were being ignored.More Related News
