Sidhhant Motion Pictures presents “Malumadi”, a moving story of motherhood at the heart of Gujarati cinema
Gujarati cinema is set to welcome a film that doesn’t merely unfold on screen, but quietly settles into the hearts of its audience. “Malumadi”, presented by Sidhhant Motion Pictures and produced by Vikram Patolia and Kiran Khokhani, is scheduled to release in theatres on 30th January 2026.
This is not the story of a fictional heroine.
This is the story of every Gujarati household’s mother.
Lovingly referred to as “Gujarat’s Mother India”, Malumadi reflects the selfless love, quiet resilience, and unseen sacrifices of Gujarati mothers, a form of motherhood that stays in the background, so the family can move forward together.
Directed with sensitivity by Milan Joshi, the film explores love, sacrifice, and the unbreakable bond of family in a way that feels deeply familiar and timeless. Malumadi is a clean, family-friendly film, grounded in emotion, cultural values, and lived truth.
Where emotion meets tradition
