
Shradha Binani granted time to file rejoinder to SFIO affidavit, says Bombay High Court

Shradha Binani, daughter of Braj Bhushan Binani, the promoter of Binani Industries, had moved to the Bombay High Court to challenge the summons issued by the SFIO.
Bombay High Court has granted time to Shradha Binani, the daughter of the promoter of the erstwhile Binani Cement Limited (BCL), to file a rejoinder to an affidavit filed by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO). The matter will be heard on February 1.
Shradha Binani, daughter of Braj Bhushan Binani, the promoter of Binani Industries, had moved to the Bombay High Court to challenge the summons issued by the SFIO. However, the corporate fraud investigating agency opposed the plea by the daughter of Binani industries promoter.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
