
Shiv Sena still backing ‘Sachin Vaze gang’, says BJP leader Ram Kadam

Reacting to an article in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna, BJP leader Ram Kadam said that the Shiv Sena was still favouring the “Sachin Vaze gang” despite serious charges against them.
The Maharashtra BJP on Monday accused the Shiv Sena of favouring suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze despite allegations against him in the Antilia bomb scare case. Reacting to an article in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna, BJP leader Ram Kadam said that the Shiv Sena was still favouring the “Sachin Vaze gang” despite serious charges against them. Saamna’s latest editorial had said that Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh’s transfer was routine and not because he was guilty of anything.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
