Sheila's Brush? More snow to hit Newfoundland this St. Patrick's day weekend

After a sunny Saturday for much of Newfoundland, a pile of snow is expected this St. Patrick's day weekend.
Environment Canada has yellow warnings in place and suggests 15 to 20 centimeters of snow could fall across the island, starting Saturday evening into Sunday.
There is a yellow winter storm warning in place for the northern Avalon peninsula, Clarenville, the Bonavista Peninsula and Terra Nova.
Around 15 to 20 centimeters of snow is expected to start falling this evening, lasting until midday Sunday, with wind gusts reaching 70 km/h.
While Environment Canada does warn of low visibility starting this evening, it suggested most areas of the Avalon Peninsula will see an improvement overnight, as temperatures will begin to rise just above zero.
However, blowing snow is expected to start again Sunday morning.
“But keep in mind the winds will still be pretty strong, so there could still be some local blowing snow over those areas that have a little more exposure to them,” said Environment Canada meteorologist Justin Boudreau.
There's a yellow blowing snow advisory in place for the southern Avalon peninsula, with 10 to 15 centimeters expected to fall starting Saturday evening, with wind gusts reaching 70 km/h.
Again, Environment Canada warns that visibility could improve overnight when temperatures rise, but only a bit more snow will fall Sunday morning.
A yellow snowfall warning is also in place for central and northeastern parts of the island, and for the Connaigre and Burin Peninsulas, with about 15 to 20 centimeters of heavy snow expected to fall.
Poor visibility will make travel difficult across the region.
Conditions are expected to taper off overnight for Connaigre and Burin Peninsula, but could last until Sunday afternoon for central and northeastern Newfoundland.
Much stronger winds reaching 80 km/h, and up to 120 km/h in the wreckhouse region, are expected in the Channel-Port aux Basques and Burgeo-Ramea region.
There is also a yellow winter storm warning in place, as 15 to 25 centimeters of snow is expected to fall starting this afternoon, lasting until midnight.
