Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was on Wednesday discharged by a Sessions Court in Delhi in the death case of his late wife Sunanda Pushkar.
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was on Wednesday discharged by a Sessions Court in Delhi in connection with the death case of his late wife Sunanda Pushkar. Sunanda Pushkar was found dead in a hotel room in January 2014. The medical report had indicated the presence of drugs in her system. While initial investigation had been on whether it was a murder, the police finally filed a chargesheet for suicide.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
