Sharon Stone has some words of wisdom for anyone who wants to do another iteration of “Basic Instinct.”
The Oscar-winning actor, who starred in the original 1992 version of the film, returned to her iconic role for 2006′s “Basic Instinct 2.” While the first film was a commercial success, the second movie was anything but.
Despite the flop, a new reboot of the film is in the works, and will be penned by the movie’s original writer. But don’t count on seeing Stone in it.
“If it goes the way the one that I was in went, I would just say I do not know why you’d do it,” Stone told Craig Melvin of the “Today” show in a new interview, released on Monday. [Comments start around 3:30]
