‘Shakthi Thirumagan’: Vijay Antony teams up with ‘Aruvi’ director Arun Prabu for his 25th film
Vijay Antony is teaming up with Aruvidirector Arun Prabu Purushothaman for the actor’s 25th film. The makers announced earlier today that the film is titled Shakthi Thirumagan.
Vijay Antony took to social media to share the first look of Shakthi Thirumagan. The first look features the actor with images of temple on one side and Fort St. George which houses the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly on the other side.
The cast list of Shakthi Thirumagan includes Vaagai Chandrasekar, Sunil Kriplani, Cell Murugan, Trupthi Ravindra, and child actor Keshav. Vijay Antony will be handling the music for the film and his home banner, Vijay Antony Films Corporation is bankrolling the project.
Cinematographer Shelley Calist and editor Raymond Derrick Crasta, who were a part of Arun’s films Aruvi and Vaazhl are also on board Shakthi Thirumagan. The film will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam under the title Parashakthi. The film is currently in post production stage.
Meanwhile, Vijay will next be seen in Gagana Maargan directed by debutant Leo John Paul. Also produced by the actor, the film stars Samuthirakani, Brigida Saga, Mahanathi Shankar, Prithika, Vinodh Sagar, Ajay Dhishan, Deepshikha, Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru Archana, Kanimozhi, and Anthagaram Natarajan.
