
Several flights diverted amid heavy rains, thunderstorm in Delhi

Several flights to Delhi were diverted to Jaipur, Lucknow and Ahmedabad after heavy rains and thunderstorms in the national capital.
At least 11 flights, including an international flight to Delhi were diverted due to heavy rains and thunderstorms in the national capital on Friday.
Two Vistara flights and an Indigo plane were diverted to Lucknow airport. Meanwhile, seven flights were diverted to Jaipur.
These seven flights included: Two Air Asia flights - one from Pune and one from Ranchi, Air India's two flights as well as a Go First flight and an Indigo plane from Ranchi.
Meanwhile, an Emirates flight from Dubai was diverted to Ahmedabad airport on Friday evening.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
