“Late Night” host Seth Meyers on Thursday knocked Donald Trump for not being a “numbers guy” as he highlighted the president’s essentially mathematically impossible claim about reducing drug prices.
Meyers — after airing clips of the conservative “panic” following Democrats’ big election night — said he was certain Trump wouldn’t “look inside the numbers” just as Fox News’ Bret Baier suggested Republicans do.
He tossed to a supercut of Trump who, in recent months, has claimed that he could bring drug prices down anywhere from 100% to 1500%.
“Nobody’s ever seen anything like this,” said Trump after regurgitating the claim in the Oval Office on Thursday.
Meyers took on Trump over his “very exciting” calculations.
