'Next-Level Bootlicking': Critics Mock Trump After 'Pathetic' Public Praise Session
HuffPost
The president basked as key officials offered over-the-top praise.
President Donald Trump held another public praise session during a briefing in Memphis on Monday, a move critics likened to a scene straight out of North Korea.
At one point, Trump even jokingly demanded more flattery.
In clips going viral on social media, Homeland Security adviser Stephen Miller credited Trump with a “national miracle” for his work on border security and public safety.
Trump beamed at the praise, then turned to FBI Director Kash Patel.
“So, Kash, see if you can top that,” the president said. “That’s a tough one, Kash.”
