Sena chief Uddhav's home not on Droupadi Murmu's agenda during Mumbai visit

The BJP has said that NDA’s Presidential poll nominee Droupadi Murmu won't visit Matoshree despite Uddhav Thackeray backing her candidature, going against the choice of his allies — the Congress and the NCP — in the Maha Vikas Aghadi .

The BJP has asserted that Murmu won't visit Matoshree despite Uddhav Thackeray backing her candidature, going against the choice of his allies — the Congress and the NCP — in the Maha Vikas Aghadi. The two parties had supported the nomination of former Union minister Yashwant Sinha for the topmost post of the country.

Shiv Sena MPs are now mediating with the BJP and a discussion is on whether Uddhav will go to meet Murmu.
Meanwhile, Murmu will meet the ruling alliance’s MPs and MLAs on Thursday as part of her campaign to seek support for her candidature.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis will welcome Murmu at the airport in Mumbai.
