Security agencies and Delhi Police are on high alert after receiving inputs about terror attacks from the Intelligence Unit.
The inputs came after the NIA court sentenced Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik to life imprisonment on Wednesday evening.
The Intelligence Unit is anticipating terror attacks as Malik has been lodged in Delhi’s Tihar jail.
Malik’s supporters have targeted the Delhi-NCR region to protest against his conviction.
According to the inputs, Malik’s supporters and several terrorist outfits have planned attacks in the Delhi-NCR region after his conviction.
The security forces and police officials have been asked to take anti-terror measures immediately.
The forces have been asked to keep an eye on two-wheelers plying without number plates in the Delhi-NCR region.
