SC takes suo motu cognizance of Jharkhand judge’s suspicious death, seeks probe report

The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognizance of the death of the Jharkhand judge and has sought a report from Jharkhand chief secretary and DGP.

The Supreme Court on Friday took suo motu cognizance of the death of a Jharkhand judge and has sought a report from Jharkhand chief secretary, DGP on investigation progress in probe. The Supreme Court has said that the Jharkhand High Court will keep monitoring the probe into the alleged mowing down of the Jharkhand judge.
