Several people were injured when two groups clashed following a heated argument about the Karnataka hijab issue. The incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur.
Among those injured include Bhaskar Pratap Singh, Nagar Pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He was admitted to the Ghatampur CHC and was referred to Kanpur.
According to reports, sticks and poles were used fiercely between both sides. During the fight, RSS's city pracharak suffered injuries to his head. Many others were also injured.
After receiving information about the brawl, police reached the spot. The situation was then brought under control.According to police, the situation became tense after a heated argument between two communities on the issue of hijab in Purani Bazar of Ghatampur Kotwali area.

RSS's city pracharak Bhaskar Pratap Singh reached to argue on behalf of one side. The heated arguments eventually led to a fight.
The city campaigner has given a complaint in Ghatampur Kotwali saying he was sitting outside a resident, Anoop Singh’s house in Kotdwar on Sunday evening where they were having a discussion with Yash Raj Singh, another resident, regarding UP elections and other topics.
