New Zealand's Ross Taylor played what could possibly his final Test innings on the second day of the second match against Bangladesh in Christchurch, getting dismissed for a quickfire 28 off 39 balls as the Kiwis declared on 521/6.
Ross Taylor was given a guard of honour by Bangladesh as he walked out for what could possibly be his final Test innings. Taylor, who is New Zealand's all-time highest run scorer in the longest format, had earlier announced that he would be retiring at the end of the ongoing domestic season, thus making the two-Test series against Bangladesh his last in red ball international cricket. Taylor could be seen taking off his helmet as he walked in in response to Bangladesh giving him the guard of honour and shook opposing captain Mominul Haque's hand before taking guard.
