Rise of new 'Hindu Owaisi' with BJP's backing: Sanjay Raut's jibe at Raj Thackeray

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday slammed MNS chief Raj Thackeray and referred to him as the "new Hindu Owaisi" with BJP backing.
In a dig at Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray's aggressive stance against loudspeakers in mosques, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday referred to him as a "new Hindu Owaisi" and his party as a "new Hindutva MIM".
Alleging the BJP’s hand behind the demands for removing loudspeakers from mosques and reciting Hanuman Chalisa, Raut claimed that intelligence inputs suggest that a conspiracy is underway to create communal tension in Maharashtra and recommend President’s rule dismissing the MVA government.
Sanjay Raut further said that the BJP was using Raj Thackeray in Maharashtra similar to how the party had used AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in Uttar Pradesh during Assembly elections.

According to reports, posters threatening Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut appeared in front of the Saamana office on Saturday in Mumbai. Saamana is the newspaper published by the Shiv Sena.
"Whom did you call Owaisi? Sanjay Raut, shut down your loudspeaker. Whole Maharashtra facing problem due to it, or else we will shut down your loudspeaker in MNS style," the poster read.
