
Religious conversion by fraudulent means cannot be tolerated: RSS's Dattatreya Hosabale

Dattatreya Hosabale said, "Why the minorities are opposing it is an open secret. Increasing the number by any methods, fraudulent or other such methods cannot be accepted."
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale alleged that minority communities in the country opposed anti-conversion laws and that religious conversion by fraudulent methods is unacceptable.
Hosabale said, "Why the minorities are opposing it is an open secret. Increasing the number by any methods, fraudulent or other such methods cannot be accepted." “Conversion should be stopped and people who have converted must announce it. Some people get converted and do not disclose this fact. They take double benefits," Dattatreya Hosabale added.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
