
Record, review online classes to prevent sexual harassment: TN CM to schools

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday asked the concerned school management to record all online classes and conduct its periodical review to prevent sexual harassment of students.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday directed recording of all online classes by the school management concerned and its periodical review by a committee comprising representatives from the institution and the Parents Teachers Association. This comes after a teacher of a well-known CBSE school was arrested for alleged sexual harassment of girls by sending lewd messages. The chief minister held a review meeting in this connection and warned that strict action would be taken against anyone indulging in such a heinous act, an official statement said.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
