Realme GT Neo camera-focused flagship launched with 64-megapixel cameras, prices start at around Rs 20,000

Realme, earlier this year, said that it will launch two flagships a year going forward and the GT Neo is the second one for this year.

Realme GT Neo is the brand new flagship from the company that earlier this year outlined the new strategy wherein it will launch two flagships a year. The first flagship is the GT 5G that came a few days back. And while the GT 5G was centred around the maximum performance you can get on an Android phone -- thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, the GT Neo is a camera-centric phone, according to Realme. Realme GT Neo brings the 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 processor accompanied by two more sensors on the back. And this phone uses the brand new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor inside. To be a camera-centric phone means the phone has to offer more than what the rest of the phones have. Realme is relying on the Sony IMX682 sensor to take on the competition. And this is the same sensor that you get on the pricier Realme GT 5G. There are a few optimisations done to the camera app of Realme UI 2.0 in accordance with this new sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front of the Realme GT Neo. And the rest of the specifications are very much like what you get on the X7 Pro. The biggest difference is the processor.
