Nritya Gopal Das was admitted to a hospital in Ayodhya after he complained about urine infection. However, the doctors decided to shift him to Lucknow's Medanta Hospital as his health did not improve.
The health of Shri Ram Janmabhomi Teerth Kshetra Trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das deteriorated again on Sunday. He was rushed to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow. Earlier, he was admitted to the district hospital in Ayodhya.
83-year-old Nritya Gopal Das had complained about urine infection. A bypass stent was placed for his urine discharge by the doctors of nephrology. Additional oxygen was also required for him after his oxygen level dropped below the normal level.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
