Rajya Sabha employees collect Rs 21 lakh for colleagues who fell prey to Covid-19

Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu handed over the cheques of Rs 3.5 lakhs to each of the kin of the officials of the secretariat who died during the second Covid wave. The contribution was made by the staff of Rajya Sabha.

In a gesture of goodwill, Rajya Sabha employees collected Rs 21 lakhs for the family members of six colleagues who had succumbed to Covid-19.
