Ladulal Pitalia, an independent candidate, has withdrawn his nomination for the Sahara Assembly seat of Rajasthan's Bhilwara and alleged that the BJP was "pressurising" him.

Pitalia, who withdrew his nomination from theSahara Assembly seat, has also written a letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and sought protection for his family. He alleged that he is being "pressurised" by the BJP to withdraw his nomination. Following this, a war of words ensued between BJP and Congress in Rajasthan over Pitalia's withdrawal of nomination.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
