State announces ₹10 lakh ex-gratia for families of Rajamahendravaram victims who died from allegedly adulterated milk consumption.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday announced an ex-gratia of ₹10 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives after allegedly consuming adulterated milk in Rajamahendravaram.
The announcement was made in the State Legislative Assembly, where the Chief Minister expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families and assured stringent action against those responsible.
The incident occurred in Choudeshwari Nagar and Swaroop Nagar areas of Rajamahendravaram, where several residents fell ill after consuming milk supplied by a local dairy.
According to officials, four persons have died in the incident, while two others remain on ventilator support and eight more are undergoing treatment in hospital.
Addressing the Assembly, the Chief Minister described the incident as “deeply distressing.”
