Delhi weather update: Rain and thunderstorm predicted, with minimum temperature of 22.7°C and moderate air quality.
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 22.7 degrees Celsius on Tuesday (May 6, 2025), with the weather office predicting rain and thunderstorm.
Humidity was recorded at 68% at 8.30 am.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 34 degrees Celsius, the Met office said.
The air quality was recorded in the 'moderate' category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) standing at 123 at 9 a.m.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.

After mandating pet dog licensing and microchipping, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) bids to do the same for cattle to curb stray cattle issues and man-animal conflicts in the streets. The civic body has moved to make it compulsory for cattle owners to obtain licenses for their animals across all zones.
