Punjab government submitted a detailed report to the Ministry of Home Affairs on sequence of events that led to a breach in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security.
Punjab government submitted a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on the security breach during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Ferozepur.
Punjab Chief Secretary Anirudh Tewari submitted a report detailing the sequence of events leading up to the security breach. The report was made after consulting with top police officials of the state, who were in charge of prime minister's security.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
